Description

Solid mechanics, MEEN 305, progresses from statics to consider the stresses distributed within solid bodies on which forces are applied. Non-dynamic problems where static equilibrium does not hold are also considered. These principles are applied to consideration of standard mechanical designs in MEEN 368, and extended to dynamic systems in MEEN 363.
