Description

Linear algebra is not required for mechanical engineers at Texas A&M, but is is a very useful course to take because its concepts recur in Differential Equations, Solid Mechanics, Dynamics, and Fluid Dynamics, and Numerical Methods. Texas A&M offers multiple Linear Algebra courses, of which MATH 304 is the most basic. Interested students may want to investigate the more advanced options as well.

Resources

Unfortunately, we don’t have custom notes for these courses yet, but recommend Libre Texts.
